Dubuque, IA, March 31, 2008 - SOS Staffing Services today announced that it will host an open house to celebrate its 6-month anniversary. The Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce will be present, conducting its official new-member ribbon cutting ceremony. The celebration will take place on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at the SOS office located at 2300 JFK Road, Suite 5, Dubuque, IA 52001.

Mayor Roy Buol, along with 28 of Dubuque's famous "red coat" Ambassadors, and a number of city dignitaries, will perform a ribbon cutting ceremony at 12:00 p.m.

"We are excited about this event as it's a great way to get better acquainted with the individuals and businesses of our community," said Kathy Sitzman, SOS Branch Manager. "Occasions such as this provide the perfect opportunity to showcase our services and demonstrate how we are truly different from our competition."

Sitzman, along with Staffing Manager Ann Kuiper and Operations Manager Liz Lange, invite local area businesses to stop by between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - an assortment of complimentary food and drink will be provided. In addition, SOS has put together a fun contest that helps educate employers on the breadth of its service offerings and includes a grand prize drawing. The winner will receive two tickets to the upcoming theater production of “Bright Ideas” at the Five Flags Bijou Room, as well as a gift certificate to one of Dubuque's top restaurants.
